Taal volcano, the volcano inside a bigger volcano.
The trip took almost 2 hours and I only had nothing but prayers in my mind that we'll be given clear blue skies at least. We hailed a jeepney from Olivarez terminal, asked the driver to take us to Leslie's where people rave about their famous bulalo to satisfy our hungry selves. When we got there the place was already packed and couple of guests were already waiting by the entrance. We're #9! :(
We need to at least buy the time so we'll not be bored and pity ourselves while looking at guests who were comfortably eating that time. Hence, the EMO pose. HAHA!
While friends manage to compose themselves despite of hunger and still got this.
Finally, we were called and led to our table with perfect view of the infamous Taal Volcano. We made our choices and patiently waited for good 20 minutes until they were served. We had these.
The bulalo was deliciously hot, the veggie dish is very ordinary AND costs a lot and the prawn will definitely make u FROWN. If 495pesos/order will not disappoint you then I don't know what. Might I add too the forgetful pork sisig the we ordered which I dare not take a picture.
When we're almost finished, the in-house singing group rendered us a song. She actually sang
Overall, the experience at Leslie's is OK. Good thing they have bulalo on their menu. It may not be the best bulalo they have in Tagaytay but hey, okay na din yun. Finally, my bulalo chase is over but I'll sure be back and maybe next time I'll go check other place to compare and share it here.
ciao,
Tristan
