SJCAM4000W, Mojito and Friends

I'M BACK!

I admit that I am a terrible blogger and I allow the lazy blanket to cover me. Everyday. Hindi consistent ba. But during my absence, I've been religiously reading blogs that I follow and hopefully the blog juice got me right this time. So, I'll write and update whenever I can.

Got myself an SJ4000W recently. YAY! I took it out for a spin last week and fell in love.

Mojito bonanza at TGIF-G5
Pulutan...
...and just the right amount of mojitos.
I love how user-friendly and compact it is! Sobrang kilig ko habang ginagamit ko. The price is all worth it!

I intently bought it kasi I have an upcoming trip to El Nido. I wanted to capture every moment at syempre ung mga underwater photos. As Palawan is known for its beautiful beaches, islands and underwater wonders. Sobrang excited ko na one week nalang. *praying for good weather*

That's all for now! :)

Palawan Diaries: Uno

I opened my 2014 with a bang.

I went to Puerto Prinsesa, Palawan last January with a couple of friends. We decided to de-stress and chose this place after a long year of hard work. I mean what's not to like in Palawan?

Life Update: Laiya Beach

Before summer will officially bid adieu, i was able to drag my lazy ass and join a group of friends going to Batangas. We left early on a gloomy Tuesday with prayers in our lips hoping that Batangas will have a better weather. We were on time and were the first ones to board the bus going to San Jose. Fare is 185php one way. In this day and age, most bus companies has a lot of paandar and this one has both wifi and movie-on-board.

It took almost 3 hours and we found ourselves in San Jose, Batangas. We hurriedly carried our shopping bags of groceries and look for the easiest/cheapest mode of transportation going to Laiya. Jeepneys are cheaper compared to motorcycles but we settled for the latter kasi bibihira lang ang jeep. And 60php/pax is not bad costing us to hire the whole trip for 300php, one-way! We made a short stop at a Tourism office and paid 20php for an Environmental fee.

45 minutes after, we were welcomed to an almost empty resort. We decided to just take this cute abode complete all things we need(except Wifi!) to the tune of 3500php overnight stay. Not bad.

Life Update: Random Eats

I was all packed and ready for a planned getaway down south for a wake boarding adventure. Excitement was all over my nerves since it will be my first and knowing that we'll be having a long weekend. Thanks Uncle Sam for your Labor day!

This is by the way in Nuvali located in Sta. Rosa, Laguna. You can find more info about Nuvali here. Halfway through my shift, i knew that this plan will not be realized since a couple of friends already wanted to just reschedule it due to unexpected events. What can I do? *sniff*

Anawangin Cove: The Right Decision

"My dream is to have a house on the beach, even just a little shack somewhere so I can wake up, have coffee, look at dolphins, be quiet and breathe the air."
-Christina Applegate

the recent trip to Anawangin cove was one of the trips i haven't put too much effort on when it comes to planning. it was just out of curiosity, the need to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and stresses at work that pushed me to search random getaway on Google. the initial plan was Puerto Galera. then Batangas. just when i thought we agreed on Antipolo, a search result of Anawangin cove made it all change.

few keyboard clicks later, kaladkad tours came on my screen. i made a quick chat with friends, inquiring their thoughts and approval. then a decision was made, F.I.N.A.L.L.Y.

after an arrangement with kaladkad tours, we were set to leave by 6am on a Saturday after our shift. our van picked us up and the three-hour trip to zambales began. we bought food for breakfast from the nearest fastfood and ate it in the van so no time's wasted. after a few asaran and hagalpakan sa tawa moments, lack of sleep and the smoothness of the trip, we dozed off. thank God for the wonders of NLEX.

'chura ng mga tulog!heheh

Of Diet and Boodle fight

i had a very tough week of late. i don't know if its because i'm being too hard on my self especially when it comes to eating. "Ang hirap magpapayat!" are complaints we always hear from a friend, colleague or from a family member who wants to stay fit but resisting "temptations" never comes to play. i guess i am guilty hence this post.

i've been on a personalized diet for over a year now. being a self-confessed carbo maniac, i find it very tedious at first. your normal breakfast-merienda-lunch-merienda-dinner and not-so-late night merienda chain is broken. like.definitely.for.real! blame it to the physician's advise i got over a year ago for being a stage 1 obese! i know, right?! i was told to stick on low-calorie diet program which i have maintained a good relationship right now. heheh! I guess love then is just about patience,no?

but allow me to share photos taken on my "cheat days" where my couple of friends and I decided to do a not-so-fancy boodle fight.

we headed to plaridel, bulacan to meet up with our friend who's gonna be our host for the day and decided to make a quick stop at the Barasoain church to hear mass have our pictures taken! lols for the turista shot.
