Life Update: Laiya Beach

Before summer will officially bid adieu, i was able to drag my lazy ass and join a group of friends going to Batangas. We left early on a gloomy Tuesday with prayers in our lips hoping that Batangas will have a better weather. We were on time and were the first ones to board the bus going to San Jose. Fare is 185php one way. In this day and age, most bus companies has a lot of paandar and this one has both wifi and movie-on-board.

It took almost 3 hours and we found ourselves in San Jose, Batangas. We hurriedly carried our shopping bags of groceries and look for the easiest/cheapest mode of transportation going to Laiya. Jeepneys are cheaper compared to motorcycles but we settled for the latter kasi bibihira lang ang jeep. And 60php/pax is not bad costing us to hire the whole trip for 300php, one-way! We made a short stop at a Tourism office and paid 20php for an Environmental fee.

Beach front of Moonlight Resort
45 minutes after, we were welcomed to an almost empty resort. We decided to just take this cute abode complete all things we need(except Wifi!) to the tune of 3500php overnight stay. Not bad.

Where we stayed.
After we ate and settled all our stuff, we decided to check the beach. Below is a massive photo uploads i posted just for the heck of it! Beware. Lol.

This dog is killing it. He goes wherever we go. Parang tour guide lang.
i love this shot! this is where i also got the idea of creating the filter via LR.

drift wood repurposed as art installation. Lovely!

i love the long stretch of the beach marrying the mountain range as its backdrop.

We headed back to the resort to prepare for our dinner after namen maligo saglit. Here's what happened.

Liempo. Almost a staple for almost everything.

That pretty much sums up our first day. We only drank 2 bottles of booze and it ended our first day. I believe we were all dead tired and we barely slept the night before the trip due to excitement.
